Maintenance Manager Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning for our equipment. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and ensuring facilities are tidy and functional. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must possess basic mechanical skills for lawn equipment and vehicles.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Keeping shop organized and keeping an adequate supply of parts
- Maintaining all weedeaters, lawn mowers, blowers, edgers
- Vehicle maintenance: oil changes, inspection stickers, handle any mechanical issues
- Applying irrigation repairs to customer irrigation systems
- Applying lighting repairs to customer lighting systems
- Managing grass trucks and routes
- Picking up materials from vendors and delivering to job sites
- Quality checks at certain job locations
Requirements:
- Must have a VALID driver’s license
- Irrigation experience
- Lighting experience
- Maintenance experience
- Positive attitude
- Works well with others
- Good driving record
- Bi-lingual is not required but preferred
- Ability to read & write English, including maps & diagrams
